How DNS Works
DNS (Domain Name System) translates human-readable domain names (like www.example.com) into IP addresses that computers can understand. When you type a domain name in your browser, a DNS server is queried to find the corresponding IP address. This allows your device to connect to the website's server and load the content. DNS acts like a phonebook, mapping website names to IP addresses, and operates through a hierarchical system of servers, with root servers at the top level
