How ClayRat Tricks You
Cybercriminals use social engineering to lure users into downloading “upgraded” versions of popular apps.

They share links like
“Download WhatsApp Pro” or
“YouTube Plus with premium features.”
The sites look legit - with
fake reviews, download counters, and professional designs.

Once installed, the spyware asks to become your
default SMS app, giving it full access to your private data.
Stay Safe - 6 Golden Rules
Never sideload APKs from Telegram or unknown sources.
Download only from Google Play Store.

Keep
Google Play Protect ON and update your system often.

Avoid apps with names like
TikTok Pro,
YouTube Premium+, etc.
Review permissions carefully - don’t allow SMS or call access unless essential.

If infected,
factory-reset your phone and
change all passwords using a clean device.
